What could you possibly see at Forrest Delicate Nobby?

The beaches, headlands and forest around Forrest changes minute by minute. Just sit on the veranda and watch the birds come into the bird baths. There is a pecking order and you can see who is the owner and manager of the bathing arrangements. Look out for the Lace Monitor Lizard they are well camouflaged.

Now and then a green tree snake will slip in to catch a slow little bird. Or an antechinus, native marsupial mouse, will slip by. Maybe the swamp wallaby mum will drop by to show off her joey.

Take a walk on the beach and headlands along the coast and watch the dolphins and whales pass by. The Sea Eagle may pass over or go fishing in the surf.

You just never know what you might see unless you take a look.

Sit on Big Hill headland or down at Point Plomer and see if you can spot the Humpback Whales passing by. They travel from Antarctica to Northern Queensland and back again every year.

When night time comes its very dark at Forrest. There are no pesky lights to bother your view of the night sky. The moon always looks bigger at Forrest.

Here are a few photos from just two days in at Forrest Delicate Nobby.

What ever you like to do make time to relax and enjoy the neighbours as they come and go.
